A 23-year-old Kissimmee man who has been in jail since July 14 for lewd and lascivious battery now faces 37 counts of possession of child pornography after Osceola County Sheriff's Office detectives searched his computer.

The investigation into Christian Guzman's possible possession of child pornography began back in July, a day after Guzman was arrested for the battery charges.

Detectives found 90 photos and 28 animated cartoon images on Guzman's computer.

On Jan. 19, a doctor with the Children's Advocacy Center confirmed that 61 of the photographs contained children under the age of 18 and 37 were images of child pornography.
