Poinciana By Lisa D’Cato

With things economically strained, “free” is the word everyone likes to hear. Combine “free” with networking, you form the ability to add to your business, increase exposure and build on prospects. Did I mention, “free?”
Poinciana Professionals is an online community with a simple goal — help those who live, work or do business with Poinciana. And www.PoincianaPros.com is a Facebook site exclusively for Poinciana.
Administered by Nadal Enterprises, the site was formed by the mother-daughter duo of Melody and Dominique Nadal. The Nadals have been Poinciana residents since 2001. Melody Nadal is a lifelong resident of Osceola County. Dominique is a graduate of Poinciana High School. These active residents saw a need for Poinciana professionals to network during these difficult times and developed this Web site, with their motto being “Building a Community One Business at a Time.”
Poinciana Professionals will host its first ever “meetup” Monday, Jan. 25, at 5:30 p.m. at Regions Bank, 923 Cypress Parkway. This is a free, fun networking opportunity. It’s also a chance to meet the “movers and shakers” of the community.
To attend this free (there’s that word again) session, you are asked to RSVP via www.PoincianaPros.com. You have nothing to lose and much to gain.

Osceola County Commissioner Brandon Arrington will hold a town hall meeting Tuesday at 6:30 p.m., at the Poinciana Community Center.
Arrington represents district 3 and residents of this district are invited to discuss projects, issues, updates and have any questions answered.
Topics for the evening include road project updates, commuter rail and Lynx, Osceola County government and other hot topics.
“I’m excited by the opportunity to share with our citizens updates on the many projects we’re working on in the community and at the same time address any issues residents may have,” Arrington said.
The Poinciana Community Center is at 395 Marigold Ave.
