New year, new information. Sharpen your driving skills with the nation’s largest classroom for motorists age 50 and older. AARP’s eight-hour course (divided into two four-hour days) will be at the Poinciana Community Center, 395 Marigold Ave. The AARP Driver Safety Program will be Monday and Tuesday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Even the most experienced drivers can benefit from brushing up on their skills. You will learn how to adjust to common age-related changes in vision, hearing and reaction time. Upon completion of the course, most insurance companies offer a discount.
Cost for AARP members is $12, non-AARP members, $14. To register for this class or for more information, call Irwin Missick, 407-870-5928.
