BLANKENSHIP - Martha Jane Blankenship, of Kenansville, was taken on angel’s wings to be with the Lord and Savior on October 14, 2009.
Martha was born in Crawfordsville, Indiana on June 12, 1918, the daughter of the late Albert and Mae (Steele) Sexton.  She was the wife of Bob Blankenship for 37 years, whom preceded her in death along with three brothers and two sisters.  She moved to Florida in 1946 and worked for the St. Cloud Cleaners.  She married Bob in 1947 and moved to Holopaw, where she worked at Friendly Corner Restaurant as a waitress and cook.  She was well known for her coconut pie and carrot cake.  In 1976 she moved to Kenansville and worked at the Cow Palace.  In 1987 she went to work for the Council on Aging.   She always had to be doing something. Everything she did was special.  She just liked to see people smile!  She retired from the council on September 15, 2004.  She said she wanted to work in her flowers more and do some things in her house. 
Martha is survived by her three daughters and one son. Linda Haslam (Dick), Patty Klein (Fred), Peggy Bass, Ricky Blankenship (Cindy), 10 Grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, October 19, 2009 at Kenansville Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Fisk Funeral Home. Contributions may be made to Osceola Council on Aging.

BUCHOLTZ - William (Bill) Bucholtz, 74, of Saint Cloud, passed away on September 23, 2009.
Born in Detroit, he is survived by his wife, Norma, of Saint Cloud; son, William Bucholtz, Jr. and wife Martha; son Robert Bucholtz; daughter Katherine Jackson and husband Francis; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held on October 17, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Heartcry Chapel, 2244 E. Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy., between Saint Cloud and Kissimmee, across from the Turnpike.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in his name to Hospice of the Comforter, 480 West Central Parkway, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714.

CARTER - Lois Audrey Donnell Carter, 98, of Kissimmee, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2009.
Lois was born in Greensburg, IN on October 8, 1911, the daughter of the late Myron and Bessie Springmire Donnell.  She was a retired Registered Nurse and a graduate of St. Vincent’s Hospital School of Nursing, Indianapolis, IN;  Order of the Eastern Star - Chapter 62, Kissimmee Elkettes, Joshua Stevens Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, Kissimmee Women’s Club and Kissimmee Gardens Club.  She was a member of First Christian Church in Kissimmee.
Preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Carter, Lois is survived by daughter, Janet Lee of Kissimmee; son, Robert M. and wife Sheila Carter of Leesburg; five grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from noon until 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at Osceola Memory Gardens Funeral Home, Kissimmee.  Funeral Services and Interment will follow at 2:30 PM in the Christus Garden of  Osceola Memory Gardens Cemetery. Condolences may be placed at: www.osceolamemgds.com

MORTON - Donald A., of Kissimmee, FL, formerly of Beech Grove, IN, passed away October 12, 2009, after an extended battle with cancer.
Don was born September 24, 1943, in Whiteland, IN. His parents were Leon S. Morton and Imogene Martin. Beloved husband of Diane Terrell Morton; loving father of Dean and Donald, Jr.; dear brother of Robert Morton, Angela McKenna, Michael Morton and Leondra Burchett   (deceased); cherished grandfather of Dean Morton II, Benjamin, Brynn and Tara. His family was his reason for fighting so hard to stay with us until the end. Donald talked often of his time at Lockheed/ Martin Marietta and the true friends he was blessed with there.
Also, a proud and long-standing member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Lodge #4048, Kissimmee, where he will forever be known as “Doc”.
