ABBEY - Wayne Herbert, 71, of Kissimmee, Florida, passed away on September 30, 2009, after a courageous battle with cancer.
A native of Syracuse, New York, Wayne was the son of the late Earl S. Abbey and Ruth E. Abbey (Taylor).  Wayne retired to Central  Florida after 37 years with Crouse Hinds.
Surviving are his three sons, Richard Abbey (Linda) of Kissimmee, FL. Jeffery Abbey (Jerri) of Middleburg, FL and Wayne Abbey (Jennifer) of Mattydale, NY; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren; sisters Darlene Vaccaro of Kissimmee, FL and Kathy Abbey of St. Cloud, FL, and brother Kevin Abbey (Terri) of Jacksonville, FL. Wayne is preceded in death by his beloved daughter Wendy Dirk (Abbey) and two brothers, Gary and Ronnie Abbey.
The family wishes to extend gratitude and thankfulness to Hospice and all the people that helped Wayne during his battle with an unforgiving disease.

JOHNS - Ramona Harvey Johns, 92, of St. Cloud went to be with the Lord on Wednesday  September 30, 2009. She was born In St. Cloud, FL on December 22, 1916 to the late Wesley and Lelia Harvey. She was a laboratory technician for the Glidden Company.  She raised cattle with her  husband, Otha W. Johns, on their ranch, O&R ranch, located on Hickory Tree Rd. off Alligator Lake for over 25 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Otha Johns.
She is survived by 2 sisters a brother and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM on Friday October 2nd at Cornerstone Church, with a funeral service conducted at 2:00 PM with Rev. Nathan Blackwell officiating. Interment will follow in Osceola Memory Gardens in Kisimmee, FL.
