ARTHUR — LaVonne C. Arthur was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She was born August 9, 1937 in Mandan, North Dakota, the daughter of Jack and Rose Bobb. She was raised and educated in Center, North Dakota. She was in the school choir for 4 years. LaVonne married Melvin K. Arthur, August 19, 1957 in St. Martins Catholic Church, Center, North Dakota.
LaVonne had a variety of jobs: country school teacher, waitress at a soda counter, school food service and culinary at Walt Disney World for over 25 years, from which she retired. She had many hobbies: traveling, cooking and collecting many things.
LaVonne is survived by her husband; daughter, Susan Geiger (Edward); son, Keith Arthur (Kim) and grandsons, Kyle and Chad Arthur.
Funeral services in celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2009, 11:00 AM in the chapel of Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 111 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park, FL. Family and friends will visit from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM prior to the service.

BECK - Helen S. Beck, 84, of St. Cloud, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2009 at Plantation Bay in St. Cloud. She was preceeded in death by her husband Lloyd E. Beck, and survived by her loving children: Virginia Bass and husband Lester of Independence, VA, Nancy Lipps and husband Roy of Heaters,  WV, Michael Beck and wife Melissa of St. Cloud, FL, James Beck of Richmond, ME, Marianne Smith of St. Cloud, FL and Robert Beck and wife Albe of St. Cloud, FL; 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Helen was a longtime employee of the Lewis family, where she was a flooring salesperson at Contract Carpets and Bob Herring Carpets in Kissimmee, FL.
In accordance with her wishes, no memorial service will be held. Her and her late husband’s ashes will be spread over Cotton Mountain in New Hampshire.

CHITWOOD - Tensie  Bronson Chitwood, born Dec. 26, 1915, went home to be with her Lord on August 17, 2009.
She was the widow of  J. Martin Chitwood and the daughter of Lucy Bass and John Alec Bronson.  She was born in Osceola County and lived here her whole life.  She was an active member of the Canoe Creek Christian Church.
Ms. Chitwood leaves  behind five daughters: Dorothy Eckenroth, Lois O'Berry, Pat Bledsoe, Judy Laverty, and Charlotte David; sister,  Violet Irene Riggdill, along with 18 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren.
Interment was August 20, 2009 at Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. Ross Runnels officiating.

RODRIGUEZ - Angel Luis Rodriguez, 86, went to be with the Lord Thursday, August 16, 2009.
Born in Bo Lavega, Puerto Rico, Angel moved to New York City after serving in the United States Army and retired after working 25 years as a waiter at the Waldorf Astoria Restaurant in New York City.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 45 years, Juanita, and his daughter, Gladys.
He is survived by his daughter, Evelyn; son, Louis; son-in-law, Rick; four grandchildren: Liani, Rico and wife Amy, Tiffany and Genesis; three great grandchildren;  sisters, Zenaida and Raquel; brothers, Bernardo and Vidal.
Visitation for Angel was Sunday, August 16, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Grissom Funeral Home, 803 Emmett Street, Kissimmee, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial was scheduled for Monday, August 17, 2009 at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in St. Cloud and committal services followed at Osceola Memory Gardens, where military honors were performed.

WICKHAM - Mr. Gary Lee Wickham, 54, of  St. Cloud passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at St. Cloud Regional Medical Center. He was the owner of Black Belt World Florida in St. Cloud. Born in Salisbury, MD he lived in the area for many years.
He is survived by his loving family: wife, Patricia Krenn of St. Cloud; mother Caroline M.  Wickham of  Girdletree, MD; daughters, Jessica Proffit (Timothy) of Jacksonville, FL and  Kristina Krenn of St. Cloud; sons; Donnie Wickham (Nicole) of Casselberry,  FL, Scott Wickham of St. Cloud; sister; Gail Hall (Eddie) of Girdletree, MD; brothers, Gregory Wickham (Janet) of Salisbury, MD, Scott Wickham (Kimberly) of Selbeyville, DE and 5 grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted  on Sunday, August 23, 2009 beginning at 2:00 PM at Heartcry Chapel, with Mr. Jim Bauknight officiating.  The interment will be private at Mt. Peace Cemetery  on Monday, August 24, 2009. The family will recieve friends from 6:00-9:00 PM on Saturday, August 22, 2009 in the funeral home chapel.
