AYERS - Patricia Ann, 68, of Saint Cloud, Florida, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2008, after an extended illness.
Patricia is preceded in death by her husband Edward “Bo” Ayers. She is survived by her son Mark Ayers; her daughter Cynthia Boger; her sister Anita Rhoden of Ocala, FL and her daughter Tanya Foreman; her sister Elaine Buist (Charles) of Greenwood, SC and their children Christy and Chuck; five grandchildren: Kirstie Boger, Jacob Buettner, Rachel, Kristen and Traci Ayers.
A viewing was held at the 1st Missionary Baptist Church of Kenansville, on Saturday, November 1, 2008, from 11:00 AM until time of funeral service at 12:00 noon.  Interment took place at Kenansville Cemetery, Kenansville, FL.
Arrangements entrusted to Grissom Funeral Home in Kissimmee, FL.

SNYDER - Bertha Lou   (Tolliver) Snyder, age 89, of Lewisburg, Ohio and St. Cloud, Florida, died Thursday, October 30, 2008 at    Hospice of      Dayton.
Born on September 10, 1919 in    Buchanan County, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late George & Lusena     (Phillips) Tolliver. At an early age her family moved to Scioto County, Ohio.  During World War II, she did precision machine work for Inland Corp. in Dayton, Ohio for the U.S. Army.  Bertha was a supervisor at the Dayton Daily News, Classified Ad Department for several years prior to marrying Victor in 1958.  Member of Lewisburg United Methodist Church and its predecessor, Lewisburg Evangelical United Brethren Church.  Member St. Cloud Church of the Nazarene.  Her active membership included, Children’s Superintendent, Bible Study Leader, Annual Conference Representative, Adult Sunday School Teacher, Choir Member and worked with the Caravan Youth Group.  Bertha was an accomplished Seamstress, Artist “Oil Painter”and Homemaker.
Preceded in death by her husband of 22 years, Victor Poet “Vic” Snyder in 1980; brothers, James Tolliver in 1898, John Tolliver in 1899, Roy V. Tolliver in 1984, Ulis S. Tolliver in 1988, Eleck “Leck” A. Tolliver in 1972, Thomas G. Tolliver in 1991 and Steve H. Tolliver in 2003; sisters, Pearl C. Simpson in 1987, Zella M. Owens in 1990, Edna E. Hollandsworth in 1996, Versa G. Smith in 1963 and Clara Opal Ruble in 2005.
Survived by her sons & daughter-in-law, Lawrence “Larry” B. Snyder of Lewisburg, Ohio and Rodney B. Snyder & Dr. Judit Hettmann of Budapest, Hungary; daughter & son-in-law, Carolyn S. & William “Bill” H. Gaik of Clarkesville, Georgia; grandson & spouse, Aaron M. & Heather Snyder of San Rafael, California; step grandsons, Brian Scott Hendrickson of Belgrade, Serbia and Charles Randy Sharp of Cleveland, Ohio; sisters, Willa L. Lyons of Butlerville, Indiana and Ruby F. Brewster of Albuquerque, New Mexico; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Funeral Service will be at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at Lewisburg United Methodist Church, 3147 State Route 40 East, Lewisburg, Ohio with Rev. Michael Pratt officiating.  Family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral at the church and from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 North Commerce Street, Lewisburg, Ohio 45338.  Interment will be held at Arlington Cemetery in Brookville, Ohio.
