GIACIN - JOHN “JACK”, 73, of Kissimmee passed away Tuesday, October 7th surrounded by his loving family. Born in Cincinnati, OH, he moved to Kissimmee in 1984 from Texas.  Jack was a sailor and he built yachts for a living. He owned a sailboat and took his family sailing on the Gulf of Mexico. Jack was an excellent cook and was a member of the “Gator Pit Cookers”. The Gators won many Barbeque Competitions. Jack cheered his family on with all their activities. He attended baseball games, softball games, plays and various activities and was proud of all his children and grandchildren. Jack was loved by many friends and neighbors. Jack loved to read and was seen in his driveway every evening reading his favorite book. He instilled in his family the love of books. He loved the Florida Gators and his dog Sadie. Jack will be missed by all the lives he touched throughout his life.
He is survived by his loving family: wife Maryann Giacin of Kissimmee, daughters Sharon Giacin of Cincinnati, OH, Vicki Griffith (David) of Dawsonville, GA, Jacci Wilson of Kissimmee, FL, Kim Giacin of Cincinnati, OH, Patti Haney (Dwight Loeding) of St. Cloud, FL, son, Jack Giacin (Tricia) of Kissimmee, FL, sister, Donna Pong of Cincinnati, OH, and 9 grandchildren: Carolyn, Bobby, Gabe, Brandon, Megan, Andrew, Trevor, Cameron and Celeste.
A memorial service will be conducted on Friday, October 10th at 6:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in his name to Hospice of the Comforter, 480 W. Central Parkway, Altamonte Springs, FL. 32714 or to the Education Foundation and in the memo put A Gift for Teaching, 2310 New Beginnings Rd., Suite #118, Kissimmee, FL 34744.Arrangements under the direction of Osceola Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 2000 13th Street, St. Cloud, Fl. 34769. MARLOW - Jack McQuinn Marlow, 79, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, October 8, 2008.
Born in Hallendale, Florida, he was a veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by his loving wife Becky and 9 children: Randy, Vicki, Lynn, Quinn, Lisa, Chris, Ed, Harold and Rebecca; sister Ruth Templeton and a bunch of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial service to celebrate Jack’s life will be held Saturday, October 11th at 5:00 PM at Kissimmee Gardens, 2552 Tohope Blvd,, Kissimmee, FL.
