A Kissimmee mother has been arrested allegedly burning her preschooler’s hands.

Officers Sunday responded to 1516 Ernest Street in Kissimmee at the request of the Department of Children and Families.

DCF had received a report that a child residing at that address had multiple burn marks on the top of both of her hands.  It was reported that Yashira Estrella-Ramos burned the 4-year-old child.

During the investigation, the child told investigators that her mother burned her hands with the stove because she was mad that the child spilled bleach in the laundry room.

The child demonstrated how she was burned for the investigators.  The child received second-degree burns on the top of both of her hands.

Estrella-Ramos was arrested and charged with aggravated child abuse.

She was transported to the Osceola County Jail and held on $5,000 bond.
