The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office is participating in a joint training exercise will be conducted on Thursday and Friday in a remote area of Lake X, private property located east of St. Cloud on Old Melbourne Highway.

“Residents living in this area should not be alarmed if they hear explosions or see military style machinery, vehicles or helicopters traveling to and from the training site,” Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Twis Lizasuain said.  “All safety measures have been taken.”

This exercise should not affect residents or traffic in the area.
