Osceola County Sheriff's Office detectives are asking for the public's help in identifying two armed robbery suspects who victimized a Buenaventura Lakes eatery. The investigation began on Jan. 24 at about 3:06 a.m., when deputies responded to the Applebee's restaurant at the intersection of East Osceola Parkway and Buenaventura Boulevard in Kissimmee.

Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the manager who said the restaurant was closed when two males wearing masks and hoodies approached him. One suspect had a handgun and the other suspect was holding a long metal pipe. A physical altercation ensued and the suspects hit the manager with the gun and tied him up before leaving the restaurant with an undisclosed amount of money.

One suspect was described as a Hispanic male, about 5 feet 5 to 5 feet 6 inches tall wearing a white mask, black hooded sweatshirt and jeans. The second suspect was described as a light-skinned Hispanic male, about 5 feet 6 to 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 175 to 180 pounds. He was wearing a black mask, black hooded sweatshirt and jeans.

Anyone with information about this incident or who has had contact with anyone matching these descriptions is asked to call the Osceola County Sheriff's Office at 407-348-2222 or Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS (8477). Calls made to Crimeline remain anonymous, and tips that lead to the felony arrest of suspects and/or the recovery of stolen property and drugs are eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000.
