• From 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, Beekeeping: Is it for me? At Extension Services, Osceola Heritage Park, Kissimmee.

Taught by a backyard beekeeper, this presentation covers the basic considerations for potential beekeepers: legal aspects, space needs, risks, startup costs, time requirements for hive maintenance, and Q & A.

• From 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Jan. 29 – Feb. 26, Master Wildlifer Online, at Extension Services, Osceola Heritage Park, Kissimmee.

Landowners, land managers and wildlife enthusiasts can learn how to manage wildlife on their land by participating in the live online webinar format.

A panel of renowned wildlife biologists, conservation experts and habitat managers for educational sessions on wildlife ecology and management and will include sessions on white-tailed deer, coyote, wild hog, non-game wildlife conservation and wild turkey.

It is recommended that participants attend a, “Beekeeping: is it for me?” presentation prior to this seminar.
