The Osceola County Sheriff's Office is seeking a pair of at large Kissimmee residents in connection with a Jan. 6 rioting incident involving illegal drug activity that led to the arrest of seven other individuals.

On the day in question, deputies responded to a home on West Mabrisa Way in Kissimmee in reference to an armed disturbance. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with Stephanie Brannan who initially indicated six males, later identified as Omar Harris, Emmanuel Rios, Robert Roman, Jose Manuel Chaparro, Gamalier Marrero-Aponte and Edwin Rivera arrived at her residence and began arguing with her boyfriend, Angel Torres-Bonet, about money. When they refused to leave, Brannan told deputies she discharged a firearm multiple times and threatened to shoot them, Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Twis Lizasuain said.

After further investigation, detectives discovered the incident involved a drug transaction and that Torres had discharged the weapon near the six suspects, and that Torres and Brannan's initial statements were false. They were immediately arrested for providing false information to law enforcement and bonded out of jail.

Based on the information, detectives obtained arrest warrants for a total of five adults and four juveniles on Jan. 10. Rivera, 18, and Brannan, 30, were arrested for rioting and booked into the Osceola County Jail. In addition, Brannan was charged with providing false information to law enforcement. Harris, 16, Rios, 16, Roman, 15, Michael Miranda-Segarra, 17, and Chaparro, 17, were arrested and charged with rioting and taken to the Orange County Juvenile Detention Center.

Detectives need the public's help in locating Torres-Bonet, 20, and Marrero-Aponte, 20, for the felony rioting charges. In addition to rioting, Torres also faces a discharging a firearm in public charge.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Osceola County Sheriff's Office at 407-348-2222 or Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS (8477). Calls made to Crimeline remain anonymous, and tips that lead to the felony arrest of suspects and/or the recovery of stolen property and drugs are eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000.
