A 59-year-old Kissimmee man, who had not been identified early afternoon pending next of kin notification, was killed this morning in Orange County when his vehicle veered into oncoming lanes and collided with a propane truck.

At 7 a.m., the driver was northbound on Bear Island Road near Walt Disney World in a 1994 Geo Metro, when, for an unknown reason, the driver veered into the southbound lane and into the path of the truck, Florida High Patrol spokesperson Kim Montes said.

The crash report noted that FHP troopers are awaiting the Orange-Osceola County Medical Examiner’s office report to determine if the driver suffered a medical episode that led to the collision. The incident remains under investigation.
