Osceola County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Kissimmee man for allegedly robbing the manager of a local fast food restaurant of his deposit.

Deputies Monday at about 10:18 a.m. responded to the Bank of America located on the corner of Osceola Parkway and John Young Parkway.

The victim, identified as the manager of the Kentucky Fried Chicken located next door to the bank, attempted to make a deposit at the bank when an unknown male with a knife approached his vehicle and demanded money.

The suspect fled the area on foot but ran to a car parked in another business parking lot, according to witnesses.

An off-duty customs agent saw the suspect leave the area in a white BMW and provided deputies with the license plate number, police said.

Based on this information, detectives located the suspect, identified as Ivan Amador-Burgos, 27, near his Kissimmee residence at 54 Silver Falls Circle.

They conducted a traffic stop and arrested Burgos. He cooperated with the investigation and detectives were able to recover the cash that was stolen.

Burgos was arrested for armed robbery and grand theft and booked into the Osceola County Jail on $10,000 bond.
