Osceola County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Soom Amphavanna, Joseph Ottuso and Leann Ottuso after the trio confessed to taking the 23-year-old woman from her home on Images Circle.

The Ottusos own Ace Pilot Bail Bonds in Kissimmee, which the victim had used to bail her ex-boyfriend and father of her children out of jail, detectives said.

The ex-boyfriend, Pierre Tyvon Evans, had failed to appear at a recent court appearance for a June 2012 arrest for delivery of cocaine. There is currently a warrant out for his arrest, according to the Osceola County Clerk of Courts records.

The victim recognized the Ottusos from the company and learned later Amphavanna was one of their employees.

The three suspects approached the victim on her apartment’s patio around 5:30 p.m. and asked to speak with her privately, according to police records.

Once she was a few feet away from her family, the victim, who is visibly pregnant, according to one detective, was grabbed by her arms and placed in handcuffs by the suspects, who told her she was under arrest.

The victim also told detectives Leann Ottuso shoved her toward their truck.

According to the victim, Leann Ottuso and Amphayanna were both wearing badges around their necks and Amphayanna displayed a black handgun in the waistband of his pants.

The victim told police that at no time did she consent to go with the trio, who forced her into their pickup truck and drove her around Osceola County to look for Evans.

The trio, with the victim still handcuffed, drove to McLaren Circle, Brack Street, Tarpon Street and Ginwright Street, all the while questioning her about Evans’ whereabouts, according to police reports.

The victim also told detectives the suspects consistently reminded her that “she is pregnant with three other children and would not be able to care for them by lying,” the reports stated, and that it was the victim’s fault the bail bonds company was going to closed because she failed to find Evans.

The trio allegedly returned the victim to her home two and a half hours after the initial incident, where as she walked to her front door, the suspects threatened to contact the Florida Department of Children and Families to remove her children. The also allegedly threatened to file a civil claim against her.

The victim called police to report the incident; detective found Joseph Ottuso, 44, and Leann Ottuso, 60, at their home, 2113 Congress Lane in St. Cloud.

Amphavanna, 41, of 153 Magic Landings in Kissimmee, came to the Sheriff’s Office for questioning after police contacted him via phone.

Based on their statements and the victim's information, all three were arrested and charged with kidnapping, false imprisonment and use of a firearm during a felony.

Leann Ottuso was also charged with aggravated battery for striking the victim.

They were booked into the Osceola County Jail on $8,500 bond for Amphavanna and Joseph Ottuso and $11,000 bond for Leann Ottuso.
