Osceola County Sheriff's deputies with the Community Response Team (CRT) East arrested two suspects accused of stealing steel construction materials at two Kissimmee Race Trac gas stations currently under construction.

On Nov. 8, deputies took a report from the construction site at Race Trac located at 2990 N. John Young Parkway in Kissimmee, just south of Osceola Parkway and The Loop. Store management reported that approximately $10,000 worth of steel pipes were stolen during the night.

On Nov. 14, CRT East conducted an undercover operation at the Race Trac located at 1720 E. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway near the southern end of Boggy Creek Road. With the construction site under surveillance, deputies observed a white pickup truck enter the site and Two suspects, later identified as Aramis Gonzalez Perez, 25, 6426 Boice Street, Orlando, and Jose Alejandro De La Nuez Labino, 21, 2029 Blossom Terrace, exited the vehicle and began loading steel pipes in the back of the truck. Deputies followed the vehicle to Labino’s Orlando address.

On Nov. 15, deputies made contact with Labino and Perez. They cooperated with the investigation and based on their statements, Labino and Perez were arrested and charged with two counts of unoccupied burglary, two counts of grand theft and two counts of trespassing on a construction site and were booked into the Orange County Jail. The investigation is ongoing with additional charges pending.
