Osceola County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested the assistant manager off a local eatery after authorities said he stole $7,500 from the business safe.

On Monday at approximately 5:40 a.m., deputies responded to Chipolte Mexican Grill at 3254 N. John Young Parkway in Kissimmee. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with store management who said The Loop security notified them the door was broken. Management then discovered more than $7,500 was missing from the safe.

 

After further investigation, Abraham Ali, 27, 2020 Estancia Circle, Kissimmee, the restaurant’s assistant manager, was identified as a suspect. He was brought in for questioning but provided conflicting statements to detectives. Based on the evidence, detectives obtained, detectives arrested Ali and charged him with burglary, grand theft and providing false information to a law enforcement officer during an investigation. Ali was booked into the Osceola County Jail.
