• From 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, My Florida Home, Extension Services, Osceola Heritage Park, 1921 Kissimmee Valley Lane, Kissimmee. Proper home maintenance and care is essential to protecting your home investment. This program addresses when maintenance is needed around the home.  Registration required. Call 321-697-3000.

• From 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12 to Oct. 24, Florida Master Naturalist Program-Uplands, Osceola County Extension Services and other locations. Through classroom, field trip and practice experience, this module provides instruction on the general ecology, habitats, vegetation types, wildlife and conservation issues of Florida’s pineland communities and urban green spaces.
