Osceola County Sheriff's deputies arrested a St. Cloud man Thursday for attempting to kidnap two teenage females from a local RV park.

The investigation began Thursday at approximately 8:40 p.m. when deputies responded to the Floridian RV Resort at 5150 Boggy Creek Road in St. Cloud. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with two female victims, ages 15 and 19, who indicated they observed an unknown male, later identified as Randall Martin, 46, watching them swim at the RV park's community pool.

When they were walking home, Martin drove up to them and asked them if they wanted a ride home. Both girls told him no, then he demanded they get in his truck, attempted to grab one of the girls and pulled out a screwdriver.

The girls were able to escape and arrive home. As they were telling one of their fathers about the incident, Martin drove up and got into a physical altercation with the father. The father was not injured during the incident.

Deputies located Martin, who lives in the RV park, a short time later in the neighborhood and based on the victim's statements and evidence, Martin was arrested and charged him with two counts of attempted kidnapping and three counts of aggravated assault.

He was also charged with one count each of resisting arrest with violence and resisting arrest without violence, according to the Osceola County Department of Corrections.

He was booked into the Osceola County Jail on zero bond.
