Kissimmee twin brothers and a friend were arrested Thursday for their alleged participation in as many as five burglaries at Discovery Intermediate School near Kissimmee.  

Osceola County Sheriff's detectives arrested twin brothers Jacob Rodriguez and Julian Rodriguez, of 142 Birmingham Dr. in Kissimmee, and Marc Martinez, of 147 Brixham Ct. in Poinciana, all 16, and charged them with unoccupied burglary for their involvement in several incidents that occurred at Discovery Intermediate School, 5350 San Miguel Rd

Since mid-May, deputies have taken five unoccupied burglary reports at the school, with the most recent burglary occurring on August 13.

On August 16, detectives conducting an undercover operation at the school observed Jacob Rodriguez and Martinez break into the school. When they exited the school, detectives took the pair into custody.

Based on the juveniles' statements and the evidence, Rodriguez and Martinez were arrested for burglary of a structure, conspiracy to commit burglary and resisting without violence. Rodriguez was also charged with battery on a police dog.

The investigation revealed Jacob Rodriguez and Martinez were also responsible for a burglary and setting fires at the school on July 8. They were charged with unoccupied burglary, criminal mischief and petit theft for that incident.

Additionally, the Rodriguez brothers and Martinez were charged with unoccupied burglary, criminal mischief and preventing/obstructing extinguishment of fire for an incident that occurred August 13 at the school.

The juveniles were booked into the Orange County Juvenile Detention Center.
