The following events are happening at the Kissimmee Elks Club, 655 Kings Highway, Kissimmee:

Sept. 23: Summer/New Member Picnic - All new members joining the Elks in 2011-12 will be honored with a free picnic.

Oct. 16: $1.98 Beauty Contest  - This promises to be a fun and entertaining event.

Oct. 27: Halloween Party- A spooky theme is in the planning stages.

Nov. 11: Veteran’s Day Service and Picnic - All veterans are invited to a picnic lunch in their honor.

Nov. 22: Thanksgiving Day dinner - The public is welcome to join the family of Elks for a traditional holiday dinner - fee charged.

There are weekly Thursday night auctions from 6-10 p.m. with Linda  This event is open to the public.

Light refreshments and sodas available for purchase.

All events listed are open to Elks members, their families and guests.
