On July 2, associates from St. Cloud Regional Medical Center headed to a house in downtown St. Cloud and volunteered to help prepare the home for the placement of a family in need.
For six hours, the volunteers worked to beautify the interior of the home by painting, cleaning and even removing and replacing a doorway.
With the help of Habitat for Humanity’s program, “A Brush with Kindness,” St. Cloud Regional’s volunteers were able to provide the manpower needed to complete the beautification of the home.
The volunteers from St. Cloud Regional were: Arthur Fagnant (Plant Ops), Dan Sherry (Wound Care), James Lindbery (Plant Ops), Jennifer Espada (Admitting), Tracey Guerrero (Marketing), Tammy Walters (Patient Advocate), Mari Jones (Administration), Zaida Aviles (Lab), Antonia Flores (Lab), Sharon Bertone (Administration), Marie Whitcomb (Physician Management) and Kevin Bacchus (Lab).
According to a St. Cloud Regional press release, the Medical Center believes in making a difference in the health and wellbeing of its community, and its volunteers were thrilled to be able to help restore the future home of a local family.
St. Cloud Regional Medical Center is an 84-bed acute care hospital located at 2906 17th Street in St. Cloud.
