Osceola County Sheriff's detectives have arrested Carl Junior Angervil and charged him with armed robbery, grand theft and criminal mischief in connection with a Fourth of July smoke shop robbery.

The investigation began on July 4 at approximately 2:08 p.m. when deputies responded to VIP Smoke Shop at 2071 East Osceola Parkway in Kissimmee. Upon arrival, they spoke with a store employee who indicated an unknown male entered the store and made a purchase. He returned several minutes later, smashed the counter with a brick and took several items before leaving the store.

During the investigation, detectives received a Crimeline tip that identified Angervil, 20, 401 Pearl Stone Way in Orlando, as the suspect. Detectives obtained a photo of Angervil, who was later positively identified as the suspect in the armed robbery.

On Friday, detectives arrested Angervil, who refused to cooperate. In addition to the armed robbery charges, Angervil was arrested for resisting without violence and booked into the Osceola County Jail.
