Warriors benefit

Stonegate Golf Club at Solivita Head Golf Professional Chris Russell and Assistant Golf Professional Claude Eastwood hosted a one-hour golf clinic recently to raise more than $500 for the Fairways for Wounded Warriors.

Fairways for Wounded Warriors is a Central Florida group that helps wounded war veterans recover by golfing on Central Florida courses.

Russell said the clinic – On The Full Swing – drew 44 participants.
