Osceola County Sheriff's detectives arrested two men Sunday for allegedly forcing entry into a motel room and demanding money from the occupants.

William Davis, 37, and Amaury German Deleon, 35, a registered felon, both of the Central Motel, 4698 W. U.S. Highway 192, were arrested and charged with home invasion, kidnapping, false imprisonment, aggravated battery and depriving the use of 911.

The investigation began on July 1 when deputies responded to the Amber Inn, 4624 W. U.S. Highway 192 in Kissimmee. The victims told deputies they were in their motel room when they heard banging on the door.

Davis and Deleon, who knew the victims, attempted to gain entry into the room because one of the victims owed them money, Sheriff's Office reports said.

When one of the victims opened the door, Davis and Deleon forcibly entered the room, began fighting with the male victim and demanded the money, police said. The female victim attempted to leave the room, but was forced back and was not allowed to leave.

The suspects fled the area, but deputies were able to locate them a short time later at the Central Motel.

Based on the information provided by the victims and the evidence, they were arrested and booked into the Osceola County Jail.
