The Osceola County School Board Wednesday rescheduled the special meeting to discuss Superintendent Terry Andrews' early retirement to Monday at 5:30 p.m.

Board members plan to discuss how to proceed with Andrews' transition and whether to appoint an interim superintendent or conduct a nationwide search for the position.

Andrews announced his retirement date as Oct. 31 after Chairwoman Barbara Horn and Board Member Cindy Hartig accused him of breach of contract and requested the board terminate him. The motion failed 3-2.

Andrews originally was scheduled to retire in June 2013.
