The Osceola County Sheriff's Office is investigating the shooting death of a man found early Friday morning in the parking lot of the Kissimmee Business Center shopping plaza on the corner of Orange Blossom Trail and West Fletcher Street in Kissimmee.

Humberto Escudero-Capoeuila, 43, was found lying in the parking lot around 2:15 a.m. adjacent to the La Cantina El 2 De Oro bar, 2654 N. Orange Blossom Trail, after bar patrons heard several gunshots and came outside, Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Twis Lizasuain said.

No bar employees were involved in the incident, deputies on scene Friday said.

Based on the evidence at the scene and information obtained from witnesses, detectives are classifying the investigation as a homicide, Lizasuain said.

The investigation is ongoing.

This is the fifth homicide the Osceola County Sheriff's Office has investigated in 2012.
