Weekly events sponsored by the St. Cloud Senior Center include:

• Monday: Social ball room dancing from 7 to 10 p.m. There is a live band on Mondays all year, but subject to hall maintenance scheduling. There is a requested donation of $3 per person.

• Saturday: Country dance from 7 to 10 p.m. in hall A November through April with live bands. A $3 donation per person is requested. During the other months, DJ Art Fagnant will supply the music. Admission is free during those months.

• Bingo is at 6 p.m. Thursdays all year in hall B. Participants must be 18 years or older.

• The Silver Clouds Chorus meets on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to noon in hall A on the stage November through April. It’s open to all ages.

• Fun 2 B Fit offers classes all year in hall A from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. Call Beverly Wilcox at 407-957-3377 for a complete schedule, as some days may change.

• Friends Who Care raise money for charity, including the American Cancer Society annually. Members meet in hall B the third Tuesday of each month from 7 to 9 p.m..  Membership is open to everybody.

• The Shuffleboard Club plays shuffleboard, has tournaments and has meeting rooms for table games.

• The Annual 2013 Senior Center Queen Contest is headed by Shirley Hood and Emma Slackman. Clubs are asked to submit names of candidates to them ASAP. 

There is no entrance or admission fee to attend the event in hall A on Tuesday, Nov. 27, at 7 p.m.  Applications may be picked up at the Senior Center.

• The Friends Who Care Club will participate in the annual American Cancer Relay For Life Event in Kissimmee May 18 at 6 p.m. at Gateway High School.
