On Oct. 12, Kissimmee police detectives were made aware of a possible teacher/student sexual relationship involving 28-year-old Kacy Christine Wilson and a male student. Through the course of the investigation, a 16-year-old student was identified as a possible victim. Detectives interviewed the victim about knowledge of a teacher/student relationship. The victim denied knowledge. Detectives attempted to interview Wilson, but she resigned and relocated to Colorado. The case was inactivated due to lack of evidence.

On April 20, the male victim disclosed the relationship with Wilson to school officials. Detectives interviewed the victim and he described the relationship with Wilson that occurred the year before. The victim also provided detectives with inappropriate photos that Wilson recently sent him via his cell phone.

Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Wilson charging her with one count of unlawful sexual activity with certain minors and one count of unlawful transmission of pornography by electronic device/equipment. Wilson was arrested in Salida, Colo., and will be extradited to Osceola County. Her bond is $85,000.
