Osceola County Investigative Bureau agents today served a search warrant at 2125 Oaks Blvd., Kissimmee, after receiving information about possible illegal drug activity at the residence.

In the search, agents found marijuana growing in three separate rooms inside the residence and took into evidence 102 plants that ranged from 6-inches to 6-feet tall. Ricardo Lorenzo-Govea, 42, was arrested and charged with cultivation of cannabis and theft of utilities.

The investigation is ongoing with additional charges pending.

The Osceola County Investigative Bureau is a multi-agency task force working in conjunction with the State Attorney's Office and comprised of Osceola County Sheriff's Office deputies, St. Cloud Police Department officers, Kissimmee Police Department officers and Florida Department of Law Enforcement agents who investigate vice, narcotics and organized crime.
