CARROLL - Mr. Noah Carroll, 81, of Kissimmee, FL passed away on Friday, April 13, 2012.

CORN - John Benjamin Corn Sr., 80, of Kissimmee, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2012.

CRAFT - Jacquelyn M. Craft, 90, of Kissimmee, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012.

DebordColorDeBORD- Mattie J. (Martin) DeBord, 96, of  St. Cloud, FL. passed away Monday, April 16, 2012. She was born in Winesap, Tennessee on March 31, 1916. Mattie was a wife, mother and farmer before moving to St. Cloud with her family in 1957. She was retired from the Osceola County School District where she was a cafeteria worker at the old St. Cloud High School building.
She was a lifelong Christian and a member of the St. Cloud Christian Church for many years.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Sam,  of 67 years. She is survived by her 4 children: Brenes (Carolyn) DeBord, Bruce (Norma) DeBord, Elizabeth (Richard) Steinmetz and John (Rose) DeBord; daughter-in-law, Linda DeBord all of St. Cloud; 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 2.8 great-great grandchildren. Mattie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother who was loved and respected by all of her family and friends. She was also loved by many nieces and nephews in FL., GA.,TN., and CA. and a special childhood friend, Vera Reagan of Pikeville, TN.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 18 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel followed by a visitation on Thursday, April 19 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. with a service at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Osceola Memory Gardens Cemetery, Kissimmee, FL.

KERR - Charles Leroy Kerr – born June 16, 1923 in Troy, Ohio.  Passed away Thursday, April 19, 2012 in St. Cloud, Florida.
He was a life-long resident of Troy, Ohio until he and his wife retired to Lakeland, Florida in 1982.  Mr. Kerr just recently moved to St. Cloud in November, 2011. Survived by his wife of 58 years, Reba Kerr of St. Cloud, Florida, daughter Elizabeth McCarel Barnard and son-in-law, Bruce Barnard of St. Cloud, Florida, sister-in-law Betty Warner of Greensboro, NC, step-grandchildren, Kyle Barnard and Jenna Kehr.
Mr. Kerr was a graduate of Troy High School.  He was employed by Hobart Corporation in Troy, Ohio.  He owned and operated two businesses, a wedding photography business, and Kerr’s Office Supply, also in Troy.  Mr. Kerr was active in the Scottish Rite and the Masonic Lodge.  An avid baseball fan, Mr. Kerr and his wife spent several weeks out of the year in Lakeland, Florida, where he enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers in Spring Training.  Upon Moving to Florida, Charles and his wife Reba became active members of Highland Park Church of the Nazarene in Lakeland.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 22, 2012 at Highland Park Church of the Nazarene at 3:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary, Pastor Fred Sykes Officiating.  Final burial will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Salvation Army, Asbury Theological Seminary and Highland Park Church of the Nazarene.

TORRES - Mrs. Carmen Maria Torres, 58, of, Kissimmee passed away on Friday, April 13, 2012.

VARTANIAN - Mr. Karekin S. Vartanian, age 89, of St. Cloud, Florida.  Passed away on Wednesday, April 18th, 2012 at his residence. Karekin was born in Johnson City, New York on May 25, 1922, the son of the late Karekin and Gladys (Swart) Vartanian.  He served in the U.S. Army as a Private First Class during World War II.   He received the European-African-Middle Eastern Service Medal, the Good Conduct Medal and the World War II Victory Medal.  He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Bonnie Jean (Howe) Vartanian; son, Thomas Vartanian (Keri) of New York; granddaughters; Jennifer and Katherine.  Karekin is also survived by a sister, Alice Tomann of VA and brother, Edwin Vartanian of CT.
A Memorial Service was celebrated on Friday, April 20, 2012 at Osceola Memory Gardens St. Cloud Chapel.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of the Comforter, 480 West Central Parkway, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714, Phn. 407-682-0808.
