The city of St. Cloud Parks and Recreation staff is preparing for a spectacular “Eggstravaganza” April 7 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Peghorn Nature Park (2101 Peghorn Way) for the city’s youngest residents.

This year’s egg hunt age groups (age as of April 7) and times are:

• Age 3 and under: 9:15 a.m.

• Age 4 to 5: 9:30 a.m.

• Age 6 to 7: 9:45 a.m.

• Age 8 to 9 10 a.m.

The fee is $2 per child, which includes the egg hunt, arts and crafts, face painting and refreshments. Children will get to meet the Easter Bunny and have their photos taken together for $5.

An Eggstravaganza Coloring Contest for children ages 9 and under runs through March 26. Contest age groups are (age as of April 7): 3 and under; age 4 to 5; age 6 to 7; and age 8 to 9.

The coloring sheet may be picked up at the Civic Center (3001 17th St.) or downloaded from www.

stcloud.org (City of St. Cloud News section). Completed coloring sheets must be turned in to the Civic Center no later than March 26 by 5 p.m. The winning submissions will be published in a local newspaper.
