St. Cloud (61) won a three-way girls weightlifting meet Wednesday over Gateway (43) and Celebration (3).

St. Cloud’s winners were Diana Gatlin (195) at 101 pounds; Ileana Bonilla (210) at 110; Leeah Schroeder (220) at 119; Sarah Boroski (270) at 129; Prisca Charles (235) at 139; Karen O’Donnell (220) at 154 and Ariel Verity (305) at unlimited.

Gateway winners were Stephanie Carrillo (255) at 169; Charnelle Michel (220) at 183 and Kahlia Williams (220) at 199.

County weightlifters will compete Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the sectional meet at Boone High.

The top three lifters from each weight class will advance to the state meet at the Kissimmee Civic Center next month.

St. Cloud qualified eight lifters for the sectional at the subsectional meet Jan. 11 at the Bulldog weightroom.

Bonilla, Ashley Sauer (119) and Boroski won their respective weight classes.

Other subsectional winners were Harmony’s Chelsey Houpt (110), Katie Ippolito (154) and Jordan Miller (183);  Gateway’s Carillo (169); Osceola’s Vallerie Norgaisse (139) and Poinciana’s Nichole Chew (199) and Bianca Brown (unlimited).

The OBC meet is Feb. 1.
