Osceola visits Celebration today at 7 p.m. for an early-season District 4A-6 and Orange Belt Conference boys soccer showdown.

Both teams bring unbeaten district records into today's match. The Kowboys, 5-2, are 3-0 in the district, while Celebration is 2-0-1 in the district and overall, prior to a match Wednesday at Lake Mary.

Celebration reached the state semifinals last season, when the teams were in different districts.

The Kowboys defeated Poinciana, 6-1, Thursday to improve to 2-1 in the Orange Belt Conference. Celebration is 1-0-1 in the conference after an early season 3-all tie against Harmony. After today’s game, the Kowboys host Lake Minneola in the district Dec. 15.

Harmony, under first-year coach Scott Marlega, is off to a 4-1-1 start before Wednesday's 5A-5 game against St. Cloud.

The Horns were 1-0-1 in the conference and district before Wednesday's game.

Gateway hosts Apopka today at 7:30 p.m. in 5A District 5.

The Panthers are unbeaten in Orange Belt Conference play (3-0) and will visit Celebration Wednesday.
