Harmony’s Luke Roberts reached the consolation finals in two events and the team (39) placed 21st at the Class 2A state boys swimming meet at the Orlando International Y Saturday.

Roberts, a sophomore, placed 11th in the 50 free (22.26) and 14th in the 100 free (48.99), a new school record.

He also swam on the 200 medley relay team (1:42.45) that placed 11th with teammates Brandon Graber, Sam Steele and John Roberts.

Graber placed 15th in the 100 breast stroke and set the county record at 1:01.72 in the preliminaries.

“Luke had a great day, and Brandon Graber did well also in the breast stroke,” Harmony Coach Terry Brown said.

Diver Larry McVicker (319.80) was 15th.

Jordan Miller (119.05) placed 23rd in diving for the Lady Longhorns.

Osceola’s Jordan Parrish (154.75) placed 21st in diving at the Class 3A state meet last Thursday. She was the only local athlete to qualify in Class 3A.
