Harmony goes into what’s turned into a pretty intense rivalry feeling good about itself.

The Longhorns scored the first time it touched the ball on offense – and defense – and cruised to a 49-0 win over Celebration last week that counted in the 7A District 6 standings. Harmony (2-4, 1-1 in 7A-6) snapped a four-game losing streak.

Coach Jerrad Butler hopes the team keeps riding the high as its visits Melbourne Central Catholic Friday at 7:30 p.m. The Hustler Bees (3-2) defeated the Horns, 42-7, last year.

“Our kids are looking forward to seeing them after what they did at our place last year,” Butler said. “There’s some long memories.”

Harmony took the opening kickoff against Celebration and scored on Michael Santiago’s 25-yard touchdown run. On the Storm’s (0-6, 0-2) first play, Glenn Hughes picked off a pass and returned it 20 yards for another score.

Santiago would add another, and Forrest Osborne (seven rushes, 106 yards) scored three times in the second quarter to put on the rout. Brady Bennett scored in the second half.

Celebration will play at Lake Nona on today at 7:30 p.m.

Life Christian Academy (0-5), off a 42-14 loss to Jacksonville Mandarin Christian, visits Master’s Academy Friday at 7 p.m.

City of Life Academy (0-5) seeks its first win Friday against Solid Rock Academy at Austin-Tindall Park.
