Although there was no winner on the scoreboard, the Osceola Kowboys had reason to feel good about themselves after tying Lake Gibson, 14-14, Friday in the spring game at Kowboys field.

Osceola quarterback Daequan Harrison ran 80 yards for one touchdown and passed 5 yards to Santiago Hoffman for another, and his run for two points tied the score with 8:09 to play.

But, the county also has some vigilant residents willing to take ownership of their communities — according to local law enforcement officials.
