Get going going to Boeing Boeing at Osceola Arts

Get your tickets now for the first Osceola Arts production of 2018, Boeing Boeing, a comedy farce set in the 1960’s.

This French-inspired farce, the fourth production of its 2017-2018 Main Stage Series begins on Friday, Jan. 19 and runs through Sunday, Feb. 4. This non-stop comedy is directed by first time Osceola Arts director Joy Belding.

Winner of the 2008 Tony Award for Best Revival of a Play, Boeing Boeing, is set in the 1960’s, was written by French playwright Marc Camoletti and translated into English by Beverley Cross and Francis Evans. Audiences will meet Bernard, a bachelor who could not be happier. He has an amazing apartment and three attractive stewardesses- Gloria, Gabriella and Gretchen- who are all engaged to him without knowing about the others. Enter his old friend, Robert, and a new speedier Boeing jet that throws a wrench into Bernard’s carefully planned schedule, hilarity ensues.

Tickets start at $22 with senior and student rates available. Showtimes for Boeing Boeing are 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, 2 p.m. on Sundays, and a 2 p.m. matinee performance on Saturday, Feb. 3rd.

Osceola Arts will also feature a new visual arts exhibit. The National Arts Program Exhibit is currently open in the Main and Community Galleries through Feb. 16th. Sponsored by the National Arts Program Foundation in support and cooperation with Osceola Arts, the exhibit showcases over 175 artworks created by Osceola School District and Osceola Arts employees, their immediate family members, retirees, volunteers and Osceola Arts current students.
