Ferry tales can come true on this Valentine’s Day

So what will it be for your favorite Valentine?
A romantic dinner for two, a weekend getaway or maybe even an Italian cruise, right in Central Florida?
It is all happening Valentine’s Day week with lots of options for that most romantic of holidays.
Italian water cruise
Make it a Valentine’s Day out of the ordinary with a romantic Italian water taxi cruise aboard The Venezia at The Boathouse restaurant at Disney Springs.
The 40-foot Italian taxi will take you on a romantic Captain’s Guided Tour of Disney Springs this Saturday or any Saturday you choose. The cruise includes chocolate-covered strawberries and a champagne toast. The cost is $75 per person for $30 minutes; $115 per person for 60 minutes. The cruise just might make it the perfect place to pop the question to that significant other in your life. Ferrytale Wishes
Have a romantic evening and Disney will supply the dessert and fireworks at the Ferrytale Wishes Magic Kingdom fireworks spectacular.
Board the iconic General Joe Potter ferryboat this Valentine’s Day (or any other day of your chooseing) for a sweet night of desserts and water views.
The specially created dessert menu includes Key Lime Tart, Pineapple Upside Down Cake, Mini fireworks cupcakes, Main Street Mickey Balloon tarts and more. Plus, you can enjoy a refreshing assortment of beverages, including sparkling wine, coffee and signature punch.
Ferrytale Wishes: A Fireworks Dessert Cruise will take place on select nights. Admission is $99 for adults and $69 for children ages 3 to 9 (tax and gratuity included; discounts do not apply), and includes a take-away Souvenir Palette Plate & Glow Glass.

Back to Nature Wildlife Refuge
The Back to Nature Refuge invites you to have dinner under the stars at the refuge, Valentine night. Meet some of the “real” inhabitants of the refuge, enjoy a sunset cocktail hour with specialty hors d’ouerves and relax by the fire pit while listening to violinist, Brianna Shirin. Then walk the trails before dinner at 7:30 p.m.
This all-inclusive evening features a gourmet buffet by Local Chef Catering, which goes hand in hand with the unique and antique, rustic decor setting by Rustic Events & Design. Reserve your seat for $50 per person/$75 per couple. Seating is limited. It is Tuesday, Feb. 14, from 6 to 9 p.m The refuge is located at Clapp Simms Duda Rd.

Abuelo’s Special
Abuelo’s Mexican restaurant is serving up a Valentine’s Day special, Friday, Feb. 10, through Valentine’s Day. The Kissimmee location is at 2431 W. Osceola Parkway.
The Valentine special is Fajitas for Two, plus a free dessert. It includes a choice of up to four different flavors of Abuelo’s fajitas.. All are served with traditional peppers and onions, plus up to four signature sides, homemade guacamole, sour cream, shredded cheeses and a choice of flour or corn tortillas, or romaine lettuce for wrapping. Taverna Opa
That Greek restaurant where dancing is allowed on the tables (at Pointe Orlando) is having a Greek-style Valentine celebration, Feb. 10-14. The event features a surf and turf prix fixe menu and belly dancing. Price is $85 per couple. Call 407-351-8660 for reservations.
Krispy Kreme
And you can say I love you for the cost of one doughnut, or maybe a dozen, as all Krispy Kreme locations, including Kissimmee, are serving heart-shaped doughnuts for the holiday. Choose between the Red Happy Heart Doughnut or Pink, both are cream filled with icing, a chocolate smile, candy eyes.
