Every scoop counts on Thursday, May 3, at Culver’s locations across the nation, as the restaurant chain celebrates Scoops of Thanks Day. More than 650 participating Culver’s restaurants are offering guests $1 scoops of Fresh Frozen Custard.

The celebration is in part of Culver’s Thank You Farmer’s Project, and helps support agricultural education programs like the National FFA Organization.

“We’re proud to support local FFA chapters as they continue to prepare young people to strengthen American agriculture,” said Culver’s Senior Marketing Manager Jessie Kreke, in a press release. “Scoops of Thanks Day allows our guests to join us in supporting young leaders who will work to create a sustainable food supply for future generations.”

To date, the Thank you Farmers Project has raised more than $1.7 million for the National FFA Organization, local FFA chapters, plus a variety of local agriculture organizations. Every dollar from today’s Scoops of Thanks Day will continue to benefit these organizations.

More on the National FFA Organization, from the release:

“The National FFA Organization is a national youth organization of 653,359 student members as part of 8,568 local FFA chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The organization is supported by 344,239 alumni members in 2,051 local FFA alumni chapters throughout the U.S. The FFA mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.”
