Detectives arrest Poinciana bank robbery suspect

A Haines City man was arrested and charged with armed robbery on Wednesday after allegedly robbing a Poinciana bank last week. Osceola County Sheriff’s Robbery Unit detectives arrested Aaron Troy Carter, 41.     Osceola County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for an inmate who never showed up at a work release job site. Authorities are searching for 24-year-old Sixto Martinez-Rodriguez. His previous charges include grand theft, burglary and drug charges. Deputies on Tuesday responded to the Florida Department of Corrections Kissimmee Work Release Center, 2925 Michigan Ave. in Kissimmee.   • Kissimmee man charged with child pornography

    Osceola Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested a Kissimmee man early this morning on child pornography charges. Robert Eppers, 45, is charged with 10 counts of promoting photo/movie sexual performance of a child. In June, detectives identified a computer with an IP address linked to child pornography, and located Eppers’ home after further investigation.     Osceola County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested two men and a woman for printing and using counterfeit bills in several businesses. Christopher and Robert Emery, 28 and 25, are charged with uttering a false instrument. Dorothy Powers, 49, was charged with possession of counterfeit bills and possession of forged instrument making equipment.
