Detectives need public’s help identifying carjacking suspect

Osceola County Sheriff’s detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify a carjacking suspect who stole a woman car in Poinciana on Monday. At approximately 10:37 p.m., deputies were contacted by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office in reference to a possible carjacking. The man, identified as Marc Henry, 34, of Orlando, was driving a GreenCab Orlando mini-van taxi with a black female passenger police officials say he knew.     By Brian McBride Editor Kissimmee police have determined that a vehicle that crashed into a pond on the Valencia College campus in December, killing four people inside, was a murder/suicide case. Kissimmee police investigators determined that the driver, Ulysses G. Montero, of Miami, purposely drove the black, four-door Chevy sedan into the retention pond that killed himself,  Julie M. Lopez-Elias, 24, Julissa M. Montero, 4, and 5-day old Dlias D.

  • Three men arrested for pointing a gun at an officer

    Kissimmee police arrested three teenagers for pointing a pellet gun at an officer on Friday. Police arrested and charged Ruben Lopez-Beerbower, 19, with aggravated assault on law enforcement officer. Kelvin Lopez-Beerbower, 18, and Daniel Velazquez, 17, were charged with criminal conspiracy aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer. On Friday at 3:30 a.m., a Kissimmee patrol officer was sitting in his marked vehicle in the parking lot of 1532 W.

  • Orlando man arrested in U.S. 192 exposure incident

    An Orlando man has been arrested in connection with a stalking and exposure incident Monday in the U.S. Highway 192 tourist corridor. Osceola County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Wilfredo Nazario, 29, and charged him with indecent public exposure and stalking. At approximately 2:25 p.m. deputies took a report from a 29-year old female who said while waiting to cross the street at Poinciana Boulevard, an unknown male later identified as Nazario

    The director of a local group for Muslim youth leaders was arrested Wednesday over allegations of inappropriate conduct between himself and a 15-year old girl. Osceola County Sheriff’s detectives arrested Helmi (Abufarah) Motasim Agha, 40, and charged him with 12 counts of lewd & lascivious molestation. The arrest is the result of an investigation that began in late January when deputies took a report from representatives of the Muslim community

  • Woman shot at St. Cloud church in domestic abuse case

    A man shot a female victim in the head at a St. Cloud church on Sunday in a domestic abuse case, authorities said. According to St. Cloud police reports, officers responded to the Prince of Peace Church, 2017 Hickory Tree Road at about 10:43 a.m. The suspect, Ramon Rosado, 76, had shot the 74-year-old victim one in the back of the head and twice in the back, police reports stated.
