Osceola deputy arrested for bribery

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement Orlando Regional Operations Center on Thursday arrested Osceola County Sheriff’s Deputy Marc John Jordanides, 33, on one count of bribery of or by public servant. Investigators believe that Jordanides used the influence of his position to solicit nude photographs from a female, according to an FDLE press release.  In exchange, Jordanides agreed to help have her arrest charges dropped.     Osceola County Sheriff’s detectives arrested a registered sexual predator on Saturday after he had sex with a minor, authorities said. Rex Thomas Williams, 53, a transient, was charged him with unlawful sex with certain minors, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and violation of probation.   • Deputies investigating Poinciana homocide

    Osceola County Sheriff’s detectives are investigating a homicide that occurred in Poinciana on Tuesday. At approximately 9:45 p.m., Osceola County Sheriff’s deputies responded to Normandy Drive in Poinciana after several residents reported hearing shots fired.     An Orlando woman was arrested Monday at a Kissimmee day care after Sheriff’s deputies allege she pushed a 3-year-old boy who fell into a cot and sustained a head injury.     Deputies are asking the public to help identify the front seat passenger and the individual in the back seat who are linked to a shooting in February.

    Kissimmee Police officers mobilize outside of Osceola Regional Medical Center in response to a bomb threat on Oak Street.
