‘Seussical Jr.’ coming to Kissimmee
Actors ages 5 through 15 will perform “Seussical, Jr.,” a musical based entirely on Dr. Seuss’ works at the historic Berlinsky Community House Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The magic of Dr. Seuss will be brought to the downtown Kissimmee this month.
Actors ages five through 15 will perform “Seussical, Jr.,” a musical based entirely on Dr. Seuss’ works at the historic Berlinsky Community House from June 27 to June 29.
Narrated by the Cat in the Hat, the play will follow Horton the Elephant through his journey from the colorful lands of Jungle Nool to the Circus McGurkus. While embarking on his adventure, Horton must protect a speck of dust occupied by miniature people called ‘Whos’ and look after his friend’s egg.
The show will be complimented by upbeat songs such as, “Oh the Things You Can Think,” It’s Possible,” “Alone in the Universe,” and “All for You.”
The play will run at 7 p.m. on June 27, 2 p.m.. and 7 p.m. on June 28 and 2 p.m. on June 29. Tickets can be purchased online at www.ocfta.com or by calling 407-846-6257. Adult tickets will cost $10 and children tickets will run $5.
