St. Cloud man arrested on 30 counts of sexual battery
St. Cloud police arrested and charged a man with sexual battery after the victim reported that he raped her approximately 30 times in her lifetime.
David Rodriguez, 55, was charged with 30 counts of sexual battery.
The investigation began earlier this week, when the victim told officers she had been raped by the suspect approximately 30 times throughout her life. The victim knows the suspect, but police officials did not say what their relationship was in a press release. The crimes occurred in several locations, police officials said.
Detectives brought in Rodriguez for questioning and he cooperated with the investigation. He admitted to detectives that he sexually battered the victim.
Based on the investigation, an arrest warrant was obtained for Rodriguez. A search warrant of the residence was also executed to recover all of Rodriguez’s electronic equipment, which may store evidence of the crime. Rodriguez was booked into the Osceola County Jail where he is being held with a zero bond.
