Get ready for a sleepover with Mickey and Minnie, 24-hours of Disney is returning to the Magic Kingdom
By Peter Covino
Well, if you missed it last year, or you were there and stayed up so long you just don’t remember it, 24-hours of Disney is returning to the Magic Kingdom, Memorial Day weekend.
I was there for the official opening of the event (it was quite cool to see Disney shrouded in fog in the pre-dawn hours) last year, and I still have some recall, but I didn’t stay for the whole thing.
The Magic Kingdom Park in Orlando and Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park in California will be filled with Disney heroes and villains from 6 a.m., May 23, to 6 a.m., May 24, local time marking the beginning of a summer of fun at Disney Parks.
Guests also can tweet how they plan to “Rock” their Disney Side this summer along with #DisneySideSweepsEntry for a chance to win a coast-to-coast 7-day / 6-night Disney Parks vacation for 4 and attend the Rock Your Disney Side 24-Hour event. One winner and three guests will enjoy a back-to-back stay at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida followed by Disneyland Resort in California.
