St. Cloud police officers are still searching for three suspects for allegedly stealing $60 in cash in Publix on 13th Street in St. Cloud.

Officers responded to the scene around 6:44 p.m. on Jan. 14. The woman employee told officers that she saw three black men enter her checkout line at 4:50 p.m. One asked for assistance in another checkout lane, while the two men stayed in her lane to purchase items. After they purchased their items, one man asked for change for a $50 bill. When she gave him the change, he asked her to count it multiple times, speaking quickly and confusing her. After they exited the store, the employee noticed she was short $60 and notified the manager.

The first suspect was described as a tall, black male wearing a tan long sleeve button down shirt, dark colored pants and a baseball hat. The second suspect was described as a black male wearing a short sleeve tan shirt, plaid shorts and a baseball hat. The third suspect was described as a younger black male wearing a dark University of Miami sweatshirt and jean shorts.

Anyone with information is asked to call the St. Cloud Police Department at 407-891-6700 or Crimeline at (800) 423-TIPS (8477). Calls made to Crimeline remain anonymous and tips that lead to the felony arrest of suspects and/or the recovery of stolen property and drugs are eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000.
