Detectives looking for summer shooting suspect

Osceola County Sheriff’s detecives are looking for a suspect involved in a shooting in June.

Jose Isreal Sanchez, 24, was one of three suspects involved in a shooting on 119 San Blas Avenue in Kissimmee on June 23, 2013. Deputies responded to the scene around 11:30 p.m. and found the victim lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to his leg. He told deputies that a car drove by and someone inside shot at him. The victim recognized the vehicle and identified the owner as Sanchez.

The other two suspects, Roberto Marquez-Santana and Tyler Lapointe are in the Osceola County Jail.

Sanchez is considered dangerous, and is described as approximately 6 feet tall and weighs 230 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair.

Calls made to Crimeline remain anonymous, and tips that lead to the felony arrest of suspects and/or the recovery of stolen property and drugs are eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000.
