St. Cloud to begin new customer information system Nov. 25.

St. Cloud Utilities (SCU) customers are reminded of the upcoming closure of the SCU customer walk-in center, Interactive Voice Response System, phone line, and Web site.

These will all be closed from Nov. 21 at 3 p.m., to Nov. 25 at 8 a.m. These closures are in preparation for the scheduled incorporation of the new SCU billing system and Customer Information System. Customers whose payments are due during this time should mail their payment via U.S. Postal Service or deposit their payment in the 24-hour drop box located on the west-end of City Hall (no cash accepted). Payments are not processed on the same day; payments should be dropped off at least three to five business days prior to the due date. An information table with SCU staff will be available in City Hall, building A, 1st level, Nov. 21, from 3 to 5 p.m., and Nov. 22, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for: Irrigation permits, right-of-way permits, driveway permits, hydrant meters, availability of service requests, associated new meter installation, impact fee and reservation fee information and adjustment requests.
