St. Cloud woman arrested for prostituting her teenage daughters
A St. Cloud woman was arrested on Thursday after prostituting her three teenage daughters to undercover deputies.
Osceola County Sheriff’s deputies with the Community Response Team West arrested Paula Howard, 50, 1704 Delaware Avenue, St. Cloud, and charged her with child abuse, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, deriving support from proceeds of prostitution, procuring a person under 18 for prostitution and sexual performance by a child.
The investigation began at 2:30 p.m., when deputies received information that Howard, a mother of three girls, ages 16, 17 and 18, were soliciting her daughters for prostitution. Undercover deputies were at a bus stop located at 4985 W. U.S. Highway 192 in Kissimmee when Howard waved them down. She then motioned for her daughters to approach the undercover deputies. The girls approached the deputies and offered sexual acts in exchange for money before getting into their vehicles, Sheriff’s Office reports stated.
Based on this information, Howard was arrested and booked into the Osceola County Jail. The girls were placed into protective custody.
