Authorities searching for Poinciana boy who ran away from home
Osceola County Sheriff’s detectives are asking for the public’s help in searching for a missing 13-year-old boy from Poinciana.
Matthew Vasquez was last seen leaving his residence at Owenshire Circle in Poinciana Thursday. Around 10 p.m. he had an argument with his mother. When she went to check on him around 11:30 p.m. that same night, he was gone. His parents reported him missing on Friday.
Vasquez is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5 feet and 2 inches tall and weighing 100 pounds. His parents did not know what he was wearing when he left the residence. Vasquez also suffers from ADHD and has severe asthma. He did not appear to take his inhaler with him when he left the house.
Detectives do not have reason to believe that the incident is suspicious, but is calling for public assistance due to his age.

Calls made to Crimeline remain anonymous and, tips that lead to the felony arrest of suspects and/or the recovery of stolen property and drugs are eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000.
